GYEON Q²M Cure is the recommended refresh for all GYEON Q² coatings: a highly concentrated SiO₂ spray sealant that chemically bonds with the coating surface, reactivates hydrophobicity, and simultaneously builds a new protective layer. The result: coatings last longer, bead more strongly, and look better throughout their entire lifespan.

• Immediately and permanently reactivates hydrophobicity on ceramic coatings. Over time, the hydrophobicity of ceramic coatings diminishes – due to washing, environmental influences, and UV radiation. Q²M Cure reverses this process: after application, water beads off as sharply as on a freshly applied coating. This reactivation lasts significantly longer than with simple quick detailers.

For vehicles with Q² Mohs EVO or other Q² coatings, we recommend Q²M Cure every 2–3 months – this maintains the full protective effect throughout the coating's lifespan.

The Science Behind Q²M Cure: How SiO₂ Builds Coatings

Q²M Cure contains a higher SiO₂ concentration than typical quick detailers or wash-and-wax shampoos. This concentration is high enough to form a chemical bond with the coating surface and create an independent, albeit thinner, protective layer. During curing (at room temperature within 30–60 minutes), the SiO₂ cross-links with the existing coating – the surface becomes harder, more hydrophobic, and gains altered surface energy, which further reduces dirt adhesion.

Application of Q²M Cure: As Post-Wash and Standalone

As a post-wash sealant: After washing with Q²M Bathe or Q²M Bathe+, dry the vehicle and apply Q²M Cure to the paint. Spread with an applicator, wait briefly, then buff off. As a standalone between washes: Spray a panel area on a clean vehicle, spread, wait, and buff off. Application interval: every 2–3 months on coated vehicles, every 4–8 weeks on uncoated vehicles for lasting hydrophobicity.

Q²M Cure Matte: The Variant for Matte Paints

GYEON offers Q²M Cure Matte, a specialized version for matte paints and films. The difference: Q²M Cure (Standard) enhances gloss – which is desired on high-gloss paint but destroys the matte effect on matte paint.
