How the Insane Shine Paint Glosser hides swirls

The spray sealant contains specialised polymers sized at molecule level to fill fine swirls and wipe marks. As you spread the product over the paint, those polymers flow into the micro-cracks and scratches in the clear coat and fill them temporarily.

The result is light bouncing off the paint more evenly. Swirls show up as fine lines because they scatter light in random directions. Once those lines are filled with polymer, the light comes back evenly — and the swirls go optically invisible.

Working with the Ultimate Insane Shine Paint Glosser is quick and fuss-free. After the wash, let the car dry fully or take it down with a drying towel so leftover water doesn't get in the way of the film. Work in a cool, shaded spot – direct sun makes the glosser flash off too fast and turns the wipe-off into a chore. A few spritzes onto a good microfibre, then spread it over a large area in straight-line passes. Give it a minute or two, then buff to a high gloss with a fresh, dry microfibre. The result is there straight away. On weathered paint carrying heavier swirling, prep it first with the Meguiars Ultimate Polish to get real correction in before the glosser sets the optical finish.

The Ultimate Insane Shine Paint Glosser isn't a correction product in the real sense – it hides swirls and dull patches by evening out the optics and pushing gloss. After you use it the paint reads noticeably deeper and wetter, with fewer visible swirl marks, especially under raking light. On older paint with moderate oxidation the Paint Glosser gives an instant lift to the overall look, without the work of a machine polish. The wax polymers in there also lay down a short spell of protection that holds for a few weeks – follow it with a wax or a sealant like the Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax and that protection stretches a lot further. So it's no permanent fix for badly damaged paint, but a very effective way to lift a car between detailing sessions.
