THE FINISHER PowerSpeedPolish one-step polish pairs modern cut with a safe finish in a single step. Micro-abrasives cut defects back in a controlled way, fine-oil carriers level out the paint and wipe off easily – no dust storms, no sticky residue. Perfect for cars with typical wash marks, when time is tight but the result still needs to look „detailed“. In the workflow, PowerSpeedPolish sits alongside the pure finish wax polish (ShineSpeedPolish). After that you top it off with JustPerfect (hydrophobics) depending on the look you're after, or leave the pure, crisp finish as it is.

One-step polish means cutting power and finishing behaviour are balanced so you get a visible update after a single pass. THE FINISHER PowerSpeedPolish one-step polish runs finely tuned micro-abrasives that bite early and finish very cleanly as they break down. That's how car-wash haze, light swirls and grey hazing visibly disappear, without the finish going „milky“. The low-oil matrix wipes off fully and gives a clear, crisp reflection – the ideal base to lay down protection afterwards or show off the pure finish. On soft paints the polish stays gentle; on medium-hard paints it delivers the best balance of defect removal and brilliance.

DA polishing – pad choice, pressure & crosshatch for repeatable results

DA polishing brings out the strengths of THE FINISHER PowerSpeedPolish one-step polish: work in the shade, cool surface, clean pads. Start with a medium-hard foam pad; step up to a firmer pad if the defects are heavier, or drop back to a soft finishing pad on delicate paints. Set 3–4 pea-sized drops, spread on a low speed, then polish in an even crosshatch with moderate pressure until the film goes clear and thin. At the end, ease off pressure and stroke speed slightly to pull that last touch „to gloss“. Take edges, corners and fresh paint gently; masking off sensitive plastics saves you rework. Wipe residue off completely with a fresh, dense-nap microfibre – and there's your clean one-step result.

Holograms, paint hardness & limits – when to top up, when to split

Holograms are rare with the right pad and a DA, but they can show on extremely soft or gummy clear coats. Then a quick „jeweling“ pass with a soft pad and minimal product sorts it out. Very hard paints or deeper defects sometimes need more bite: here it pays to run a first, quick correction set with RoughCut, followed by a fast refining pass with PowerSpeedPolish. For pure gloss refresh with no real cut, ShineSpeedPolish is enough. Keep it off matte paint/PPF – a polish would gloss up the matte level. Does PowerSpeedPolish replace a multi-stage correction?

For a lot of daily drivers, yes. But deep scratches, heavy holograms or oxidation still need prep work with RoughCut/FineCut. PowerSpeedPolish is the strong middle ground between correction and finish.

Which machine do I use?

A DA polisher gives the best, hologram-free finish. Only work rotaries if you're experienced, and always „relieve“ with a finishing pass.

Does the polish dust?

Low-dust with fresh pads, a moderate amount of product and realistic strokes. Too much product, overloaded pads or heat feed the dust – blow out/swap pads regularly.

Does it leave protection behind?

It's primarily a correction/finish polish. For durable everyday protection we recommend BodyGuard straight after. For quick gloss between washes: JustPerfect.

Which surfaces should I avoid?

Matte paints/wraps, textured plastics, PPF with a matte surface. Treat edges, fresh paint and sensitive zones carefully, keep it off glass.
