Koch-Chemie Gelcoat Micro Cut "Gm3.01" is your precise solution for removing polishing haze, holograms, and fine scratches on slightly weathered and dull gelcoats as well as boat paints. This highly effective machine polish mechanically eliminates even the finest imperfections and ensures a uniform finish. Thanks to its abrasive properties, it is economical, easy to polish, and easy to wipe off – the ideal preparation for subsequent sealing.

Gelcoat Micro Cut "Gm3.01" was specially developed for the needs of gelcoats and boat paints that show slight signs of weathering. The polish efficiently removes fine scratches, polishing haze, and holograms that can arise from environmental influences or mechanical stress. It can be used with both rotary and eccentric polishing machines, making it versatile.
Brilliant Gloss on Dark Gelcoats and Paint Colors
Dark gelcoats and paint colors often place special demands on polishing, as they are more sensitive to polishing marks. Gelcoat Micro Cut "Gm3.01" masters this challenge with ease, achieving a deep, uniform gloss that restores the original color intensity. For an even finer result, a high-gloss polish like Gelcoat Finish "Gp1.01" can be used afterwards.
User-Friendly Application for Professional Results
The application of Gelcoat Micro Cut "Gm3.01" is straightforward and efficient. For optimal results, it is recommended to apply five pea-sized drops to a suitable polishing pad (e.g., Micro Cut Pad hard) and distribute the product evenly in a cross-hatch pattern at low speed. Then, polish with a rotary machine at approx. 1,000 rpm or with an eccentric machine at the highest setting. Polish residues can be easily removed with a microfiber cloth. For final protection and long-lasting sealing, products such as Gelcoat Finish "Gp1.01", Marine Protective Sealant or Ceramic Boat Hull are suitable.
